But a delicious mouthful. For years I have been sporadically buying cinnamon-raisin bread at the supermarket, just for making French Toast. I would occasionally stuff the French Toast with cream cheese or something else, but I was distracted by a jar of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nutella.com\/en\/us?utm_source=GOOGLE&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_campaign=Brand_Nutella_Exact\">Nutella<\/a>. If you haven&#8217;t heard of Nutella, it&#8217;s a hazelnut and chocolate concoction about the consistency of peanut butter, and it&#8217;s just delicious.<\/p>\n<p>On to the making of the French Toast &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>One egg<br \/>\n1\/4C milk<br \/>\nNutella<br \/>\nRaisin bread<br \/>\n1T butter<br \/>\nSyrup (maple is best, of course)<\/p>\n<p>Preheat a skillet with 1T butter<\/p>\n<p>Beat the egg in a shallow bowl until it&#8217;s well beaten. Add the milk and mix well.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.peggycooks.ohpeggy.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/eggs.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-143\" src=\"http:\/\/www.peggycooks.ohpeggy.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/eggs.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"229\" height=\"229\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.peggycooks.ohpeggy.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/eggs.png 229w, https:\/\/www.peggycooks.ohpeggy.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/eggs-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 229px) 100vw, 229px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Spread Nutella on two pieces of bread, and cover with two more slices, ending up with two Nutella sandwiches on raisin bread. More butter optional.
